EAIE

The Financial University representatives participated in the 31st Annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition in Helsinki. 

This year, the conference was attended by more than 6,000 participants representing 92 countries. The Conference participants discussed the  international student mobility program development methods, approaches to development of the internationally recognized  programs of study, existing barriers to the international recognition of awards, intercultural communication development, and promotion of opportunities provided by summer and winter schools. All of the above is reflected in the Financial University International Relations Office work plan.  

At the exhibition, the representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the leading Russian universities made a presentation of the Russian higher education system and spoke about the educational programs designed in line with the international educational standards. 

The Financial University International Relations Office staff members discussed the cooperation development opportunities with partner universities' representatives, held negotiations aimed at expanding ties with the international partners, including the University of California, University of Hong Kong, University of Auvergne, University of South Queensland. A number of meetings were held on the sidelines of the conference. The Financial University and Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) reached an agreement to cooperate.

One of the key discussions organized during the EAIE Conference 2019 was the discussion of the exceptionally important role education played in reducing the world's political tension and shaping a new harmonious world order.  The Financial University International Relations Office staff members are confident that the Financial University experts will contribute to resolving this globally important issue.
