Dean of the Zagreb School of Economics and Management (Croatia) has Visited the Financial University
A.S. Linnikov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, conducted a meeting with Dr. Đuro Njavro, Dean and founder of the Zagreb School of Economics and Management (ZŠEM) (Croatia), on 13 May 2019.
During the meeting, the guest spoke in detail about the School he has been heading since 2002, the year of its foundation. The School is the result of efforts made during years by people whose goal was to use the best practices gained by international business schools in Croatia and build an education institution that would produce business talents and become a competitive advantage for the country in the new competitive market environment.
Over the past decade, more than 2,200 students have graduated from the Zagreb School of Economics and Management. They work for the largest and most renowned Croatian companies, and public institutions both in Croatia and other countries. A.S. Linnikov told Dr. Njavro about the Financial University, one of the leading universities in the country. Its program content is largely the same as the content of programs that are on offer in the ZŠEM. Therefore, the parties agreed to exchange cooperation agreement templates. According to both parties' representatives, such an agreement could be a good starting point for full-fledged cooperation between the two education institutions in the field of education, and for launching teacher and student exchange programs.
After the meeting, the guest had a short tour of the University. The meeting was attended by Maxim Kotelnikov, Deputy Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, and L.V. Prikhodko, Head of the International Relations Office.
