The Financial University Girls' Table Tennis competition took place on April 13 at the sports and recreation center located at Ulitsa Kasatkina, 17.
The International Students and Faculty Department was represented by 3 female students from Mongolia.
Balzhinnyam Ariuntungalag, a student of the Faculty of Foundation Programs, defeated all her rivals and was the winner in her subgroup.
In the final part of the competition, Balzhinnyam Ariuntungalag, having lost two matches, pulled herself together and defeated the remaining rivals. She took the third place in the competition.
The Financial University Young Men's Table Tennis competition (the qualifying stage) tooka place on April 17 at the sports and recreation center located at Ulitsa Kasatkina, 17.
The International Students and Faculty Department was represented by 8 young men from Afghanistan, Brazil, China and Mongolia.
Zhang Wei, a student of the Faculty of Foundation Programs, was the winner in his subgroup. He made it to the finals.
The competition finals will be held on 24 April.
