Я иностранный студент, и решение поступить на подготовительный факультет Финансового университета при Правительстве РФ было одним из лучших в моей жизни. Хотя не буду скрывать — было и нелегко, особенно первые месяцы.
Обучение: Моя учительница русского языка и классный руководитель — Алина Сергеевна. Я, наверное, провёл с ней больше времени, чем с любым другим преподавателем. Она невероятно терпеливый человек, и это правда важно, потому что я не всегда был примерным учеником — бывало опаздывал, забывал делать домашнее задание. Но она никогда не сдавалась и продолжала объяснять, пока я не понимал материал.
Мне очень повезло с соседями по комнате — Мавзун и Фердавс из Таджикистана. Именно благодаря им мой русский стал заметно лучше: они постоянно поправляли меня, объясняли сленг и просто разговаривали со мной каждый день, даже когда мне было лень практиковаться.
Мероприятия и внеучебная жизнь: Карина Анзоровна и Рама — сотрудники факультета, которые организовывали большинство мероприятий, — делали действительно много для того, чтобы у нас была насыщенная студенческая жизнь. Один момент, который для меня особенно много значит — мне разрешили свободно тренироваться в боксёрском клубе университета. Я давно увлекаюсь единоборствами, и возможность заниматься боксом прямо на территории вуза — это было для меня настоящей находкой.
«Лесное озеро» — отдельная история. Я ездил туда три раза: зимой, летом и осенью, и каждый раз это было по-своему. Например, в апреле у нас была целая программа — приезд, заселение, потом соревнования по городошному спорту и фиджитал-баскетболу, вечером перетягивание каната и торжественное открытие фестиваля. На следующий день — лазерный бой, шашки, скакалка, а в последний — стрельба из лука и вышибалы, и награждение победителей перед отъездом обратно в Москву. Насыщенно, но именно такие поездки запоминаются больше всего.
Честно про трудности: Не скрою — тосковал по семье, особенно первое время. Были дни, когда очень хотелось домой. Но именно из-за плотного графика мероприятий факультета у меня почти не было времени зацикливаться на этом — учёба, тренировки, поездки, общение с соседями — всё это держало меня в движении и не давало впасть в уныние.
Итог: Это место дало мне не только базу для дальнейшей учёбы, но и настоящих друзей со всего мира, тренера по боксу, о котором я и не мечтал, и людей вроде Алины Сергеевны, которые действительно вкладываются в студентов. Если сомневаетесь — идите, оно того стоит.
I am an international student, and the decision to enroll in the preparatory faculty of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation was one of the best choices of my life. Though I won't hide it—it wasn’t always easy, especially during the first few months.
Academics: My Russian language teacher and homeroom advisor was Alina Sergeyevna. I probably spent more time with her than with any other instructor. She is an incredibly patient person, which was truly important because I wasn’t always a model student—there were times I ran late or forgot to do my homework. But she never gave up on me and kept explaining things until I completely understood the material. I also got very lucky with my roommates—Mavzun and Ferdavs from Tajikistan. It is strictly thanks to them that my Russian improved so noticeably: they constantly corrected me, explained local slang, and simply talked with me every single day, even when I felt too lazy to practice.
Events and Extracurricular Life: Karina Anzorovna and Rama—the faculty staff members who organized most of the events—did a massive amount of work to give us a rich, vibrant student life. One aspect that meant a great deal to me was being allowed to train freely in the university's boxing club. I have been into martial arts for a long time, and having the opportunity to box right on campus was an absolute game-changer for me. "Lesnoye Ozero" (Forest Lake) is a whole story in itself. I went there three times—in winter, summer, and autumn—and it was special in its own way each time. For instance, back in April, we had an entire program mapped out: arriving and checking in, followed by gorodki (a traditional Russian folk sport) and phygital basketball competitions, and then tug-of-war and the grand opening festival in the evening. The next day featured laser tag, checkers, and jump rope, while the final day included archery, dodgeball, and the award ceremony before we headed back to Moscow. It was packed, but those are exactly the kinds of trips that stick with you the most.
Keeping it Real About the Challenges: I won't sugarcoat it—I missed my family deeply, especially in the beginning. There were days when I wanted nothing more than to go home. However, precisely because of the faculty's packed event schedule, I barely had time to dwell on it. Classes, training sessions, trips, and hanging out with my roommates kept me constantly moving and didn't let me sink into a slump.
The Verdict: This place gave me more than just a foundation for my future studies; it gave me true friends from all over the world, a boxing coach I couldn't even have dreamed of, and people like Alina Sergeyevna who genuinely invest themselves in their students. If you are hesitating—just go for it, it is absolutely worth it.
