The Financial University is a leading force in the digital transformation of national higher education, actively integrating advanced technologies into every aspect of its operations.
Currently, the technical outfitting and exterior finishing of the Financial University’s Situation Center—a unified digital platform for university management and development—are in their final stages. The Rector of the Financial University, Stanislav Prokofiev, regularly inspects the progress of the work.
The Situation Center will enable the collection, integration, and analysis of data across the university’s educational, research, financial, and infrastructural activities, forming a solid foundation for data-driven management decisions. The Center’s functionality will cover five key areas: developing a big data ecosystem, implementing applied digital solutions and analytics, building digital competencies among students and staff, supporting the strategic objectives of both the university and the state, and integrating research findings into the educational process.
The Financial University’s Situation Center is scheduled to open in the autumn, at the start of the new academic year. It will establish a closed-loop data cycle: from data collection and analysis to model development, solution piloting, the creation of educational case studies, and the integration of new knowledge into the learning environment.
