The Financial University campus in Kaluga is conveniently located in the city center. The state-of-the-art academic building features lecture halls equipped with multimedia systems, interactive panels, and projectors, three computer labs, a language laboratory, a library and reading room, a cafeteria, and co-working spaces with Wi-Fi access. The sports and wellness complex, which includes an indoor sports hall and a fitness gym, allows students to stay active not only through "Physical Education and Sports" classes, but also by joining extracurricular clubs for basketball, volleyball, track and field, and chess. All international students are provided with accommodation in two comfortable student dormitories located right next to the academic building.

Student Support and Development

The Kaluga Campus is deeply committed to supporting the adaptation of international students. This comprehensive process includes helping students adjust to a new cultural and academic environment, familiarizing them with university rules and traditions, and creating opportunities to develop leadership skills and actively participate in student life. Academic adaptation and dedicated mentorship support play a crucial role in this transition. Students are actively informed about opportunities to join sports clubs, creative groups, student research societies, and student self-government bodies. Additionally, the campus regularly organizes meetings and events specifically for international students to share experiences, celebrate diverse traditions, and foster mutual understanding.

Research Activities

International students at the Kaluga Campus are actively engaged in research and project work. Working in collaborative teams, they tackle pressing issues in science, management, economics, and finance. This hands-on experience allows them to apply their academic knowledge in real-world settings while developing critical thinking, communication, and project management skills. Furthermore, international students participate in various academic conferences and competitions, which broadens their professional horizons and strengthens academic networks. Volunteer Center

In 2025, initiated by the campus administration and students, a Volunteer Center was established on the basis of the local branch of the Russian Union of Youth at the Kaluga Campus of the Financial University. The Center's mission is to foster and develop student volunteering and community service. A key focus of the Center's work is the integration of international students. Thanks to their active involvement, the Volunteer Center has become a vibrant hub for intercultural exchange and mutual support. International students take an active role in organizing and hosting various events, assisting fellow students with their adaptation, and participating in social projects that support student government initiatives.

Health Insurance

Every international student entering the Russian Federation is required to obtain a medical insurance policy.

You can do this by:

1. Purchasing medical insurance directly from the "Rosgosstrakh" Insurance Company at: 12 Lunacharskogo St., Office 12, Kaluga, Kaluga Region, 248000.

2. Contacting the Kaluga Campus specialists via email at DAMalinkina@fa.ru or fa-kaluga@fa.ru.

Email instructions: Please use the subject line: "Insurance_Full Name".

In the email, state your full name and your question, and attach a scanned copy of your original passport (or ID) along with its certified Russian translation.

Residence Hall

The Financial University campus in Kaluga features two well-maintained student residence halls. All out-of-town students are provided with accommodation in double, triple, or quadruple rooms. The dormitories are conveniently located near the academic building at: 114 Proletarskaya St. and 16 Chizhevskogo St.

The cost of accommodation for the 2025/2026 academic year does not exceed 1,647 rubles per month.

The residence halls offer all the amenities for a comfortable stay, including equipped kitchens, lounges, private rooms, and shower facilities. Dedicated spaces are provided for studying and leisure, including specific student study rooms. Residents also have access to an on-site fitness gym, table tennis tables, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a computer lab for independent work.
