The AI Alliance Russia has announced the results of its third annual study assessing the quality of training for AI specialists. As in previous years, the Financial University has been recognized as a leader in the AI-2026 ranking, securing a "B" rating.
The ranking is organized by the AI Alliance Russia, which unites the country's leading technology companies. Its members include Alfa-Bank, Rusagro, Norilsk Nickel, the Russian Direct Investment Fund, Sber, Yandex, VK, Gazprom Neft, SIBUR, Uralchem, Kaspersky, and others.
The ranking methodology utilizes open data from the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Ministry of Labor, university questionnaires, and employer survey results. The ranking is built on a mathematical model that evaluates 19 criteria. These include graduate salaries in relevant fields, employer demand for graduates, faculty and student participation in scientific and practical AI conferences, publications in peer-reviewed journals, the development of proprietary online AI programs and courses, applicants' average Unified State Exam (USE) scores, student participation in academic olympiads, the level of collaboration with employers, engagement with schools, and more.
