Campus Facilities

The Financial University campus in Omsk is located in the historic part of the city. The modern academic building includes: lecture halls equipped with multimedia equipment, interactive panels, and projectors; 5 computer labs; a library and reading room; a cafeteria.

The Sports and Wellness Complex allows students to engage in sports both as part of the "Physical Education and Sports" academic discipline and through elective (additional) classes in football, volleyball, basketball, etc. All students are provided with places in a comfortable student residence hall (under a contract).

Student Council

The Student Council at the university is an elected representative body of student self-government, created to protect the rights and interests of students, as well as to promote the development of the academic, scientific, cultural, and social life of the student community. Its activities are regulated by the charter of the educational organization and regulatory documents governing student self-government. Annually organises major events, such as: "Initiation into students Talent contest Miss and Mister ""What? Where? When?"" and many others." The Student Council at the Omsk Campus of Financial University consists of seven sectors, each of which performs individual and interesting work!

Student Research Society

 A voluntary student organisation aimed at popularising science and engaging students in academic and research activities.
Active members of the Student Research Society work on research papers, participate in online and offline conferences, and organise interactive academic, practical, and creative events with the single goal of affirming the significance and prestige of research activities.

Life at the University

The Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation celebrated its 105th anniversary in 2024. On March 2, 1919, classes began at the financial and economic institute in Moscow. This day is considered the founding day of the Financial University. In 2013, the Omsk Campus of the Financial University was formed in Omsk as a result of the merger of several economic educational institutions.

ECONOMICS AND FINANCE

The Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation celebrated its 105th anniversary in 2024. On March 2, 1919, classes began at the financial and economic institute in Moscow. This day is considered the founding day of the Financial University. In 2013, the Omsk Campus of the Financial University was formed in Omsk as a result of the merger of several economic educational institutions. All these years, the university's lecturers and staff have been working on solving the tasks facing the state and society, promptly responding to the challenges of the time. The educational institution trained accountants, economists, credit specialists, military financiers, and specialists in international economic relations. And today, the Omsk Campus of Financial University, continuing and developing its traditions, offers school and vocational college graduates training in relevant areas of economic education that are in demand in modern society.

BUSINESS ANALYSIS, TAXES AND AUDIT

Graduates who have received training in the "Business Analysis, Taxes and Audit" educational program find jobs in large manufacturing and trading organizations, organizations in other sectors of the economy, banks, investment, audit, and consulting companies, tax authorities, and budgetary and state institutions. Graduates work in accounting and analytical, tax, control, and audit departments of organizations and state bodies. They build their careers in the main areas of activity: analytics, audit, internal control, external control, accounting, taxes.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

Graduates of this program will be able to work in the economic, financial, and marketing services of organizations in the financial and non-financial sectors of the economy, in state and local government bodies, and effectively engage in entrepreneurial activities. Our graduates start their careers in the following positions: project manager, client relations manager, procurement manager, development manager, human resources department employee, enterprise economic department employee, logistics department specialist, risk management specialist, financial consultant, bank employee.

PUBLIC AND MUNICIPAL ADMINISTRATION

Graduates of the degree program are in demand by federal state authorities, state authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, local self-government bodies, state and public organizations. Graduates hold positions in the categories of "managers", "assistants (advisers)", "specialists", "supporting specialists" in accordance with the registers of positions of the state civil service of the Russian Federation.

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

Active participation in the educational process, internships, and participation in professional conferences create a solid foundation for building a career in the following professions: IT project manager, IT manager, IT product manager, product and project manager, business analyst, Web administrator, information systems implementation specialist, process management specialist, software application tester, business consultant for the promotion and sales of software products.

Russian Government Scholarship Quota for International Students

The Omsk Campus of Financial University welcomes applications from foreign nationals and stateless persons, including compatriots living abroad, under the quota established by the Government of the Russian Federation.
Financial University is authorised to conduct its own competitive selection under the Russian Government quota. To this end, the University holds the International Olympiad of Financial University for the Youth and/or the International Intellectual Competition (portfolio-based competition).

Migration and Visa Support

The Omsk Campus provides comprehensive migration and visa support for international students, including migration registration and its extension, as well as the processing and extension of student visas.

Health Insurance

Every international student arriving in the Russian Federation is required to take out a comprehensive health insurance policy.
