Campus Facilities

On December 26, 2025, the Altai Campus of the Financial University celebrated the grand opening of the ""Sphere"" Sports and Wellness Center in Barnaul. Located in the city center, this multifunctional complex features a swimming pool, sports halls, and modern classrooms. It is designed to be a dynamic hub not only for our students but also a premier venue for hosting sports competitions of all levels.

The heart of the new facility is a modern 25×16 meter, six-lane swimming pool. The building also houses two multipurpose sports halls for team sports, choreography, and gymnastics, alongside modern classrooms, a medical office, and a cafeteria. Safety and comfort were top priorities during the design phase: a specialized sound-absorbing ceiling was installed above the pool, and the pool deck features underfloor heating.

Research Activities

The Altai Campus annually hosts academic conferences at various levels (international and regional), research paper competitions, round table discussions, research clubs, and masterclasses. Both undergraduate and graduate students, including international students, actively engage in research and project-based activities. Regular conference presentations allow students to showcase their findings, receive expert feedback, and hone their public speaking and defense skills—a crucial component of their professional development. This hands-on experience builds confidence in articulating original ideas, while publishing abstracts and articles following these events significantly enhances students' academic portfolios and future career prospects.

Russian Government Scholarship Quota for International Students

The Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation accepts applications from international students and stateless persons, including compatriots residing abroad, through the scholarship quota established by the Russian Government.

The Financial University is authorized to conduct its own independent selection process for this quota. To this end, the University hosts the International Financial University Olympiad for Youth and/or the International Intellectual Competition.

Alternatively, you can apply for the scholarship quota through the local representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo (Russian House) in your country. When submitting your application, please list the Financial University as your top priority choice.
