Pre-Bachelor Program Foundation Programs

Foundation programs taught in Russian prior to bachelor training in economics, humanities and engineering.

The programs are taught in face-to-face mode.

The key focus in the curricula of the programs in economics, humanities and engineering is on studying the Russian language and the basic economic, humanitarian and engineering disciplines described in 'The Requirements for the Further Education Programs Ensuring Preparation of Foreign Nationals and Stateless Persons to Taking Courses in the Russian Language' approved by Order No. 1304 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation of October 3, 2014. The leading University teaching departments are involved in the teaching process. The following formative assessment methods are used:  independent student creative homework, an essay, a test. Examinations are conducted as a mean of formative assessment of progress in core disciplines. Summative assessment of the progress in the Russian language is conducted in the form of an oral and written test. The instructors that teach at the Faculty use a variety of teaching materials that provoke interest in knowing more about the history and culture of Russia.
