Extended Academic Council Meeting ​

An extended Academic Council meeting where all members of the University teaching staff and researchers took part was held on 30 August 2019 in the Assembly Hall.  At the beginning of the meeting, the audience was greeted by Mikhail Eskindarov, Financial University Rector, on the occasion of the start of new academic year. 

He handed out the Associate Professors' certificates, awarded the employees who have made exceptional efforts during the year, and handed Rector's Cup over to the Dean of the Faculty of Law to mark the fact of the Faculty's students' winning the 'Ready for Work and Defense' competition. Then, in accordance with the meeting agenda, a trilateral cooperation agreement signing ceremony was held. The three parties were the Financial University, the Intellectual Property Federation and National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center. 

Mikhail Eskindarov made a presentation on the 2018/2019 academic year work results and the 2019/2020 academic year work plan. Such presentations are traditionally made at the Academic Council meetings held just before the start of each academic year. Vita Zvyagintseva, Scientific Secretary of the Academic Council, made a report on the Academic Council work in the 2018/2019 academic year and presented theAcademic Council work plan for the 2019/2020 academic year.  Yury Litvin, Head of the Military Training Department, made his presentation and the Academic Council members approved the Financial University Military Training Center Operational Regulations. Other issues related to the Financial University educational and research activities were also addressed at the Academic Council meeting.
