It is for a reason that we have called the members of the Vietnamese delegation friends of our University. Our Universities have been cooperating for long.  A considerable number of Vietnamese government officials graduated from the Financial University. A.S. Linnikov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, returned from Vietnam a few days ago. He met the Vietnamese graduates of our University on the eve of the Graduates' Day.

Our good friends paid a return visit to the Financial University in order to discuss cooperation expansion opportunities. E.V. Markina greeted the Vietnamese delegation. She said we had always been happy to welcome guests at our University, especially the delegation from Vietnam. She added she and the Vietnamese guests had been students of the same Faculty, the Vietnamese students had studied hard, graduated from the University and become highly-qualified professionals, now contributing to the good of their homeland.  She added she was pleased that the training provided by the Financial University was used for the good of the country.

During the meeting, both parties discussed similar training programs, levels of higher education, student exchange programs, launch of joint programs and further education issues.

At the end of the visit, the guests had a tour of the Financial University Museum of Finance.
