Prof. M. A. Eskindarov, the Financial University Rector, met the delegation of the Tel Aviv University and the Israeli-Russian Business Council (Israel) on 16 April 2019. The meeting was a follow-up on the cooperation agreement signing ceremony held on 21 March 2019 by the Israeli-Russian Business Council and the Financial University representatives during Education Foresight: Accreditation Bounds VS Academic Freedom International Research Conference.  The delegation members were Dr. Haim Ben-Yakov, Head of the Department of International Programs and Development of the Tel Aviv University, and Kati Dan, Executive Director of the Israeli-Russian Business Council. The Tel Aviv University is one of the largest higher education institutions in Israel. It was founded in 1956. It incorporates 9 faculties with more than 100 schools and departments, 17 teaching hospitals, more than 100 research centers, and numerous other academic departments. The University has been on the Top-100 world universities list for years. Its graduates are always in demand on the Israeli and international labor markets.  The Tel Aviv University representatives were warmly welcomed by the Financial University Rector who thanked the guests for the visit. During the meeting, the parties discussed a one-semester student exchange program that would help the universities' representatives learn more about one another. It will be a foundation for a more ambitious project implementation in the future. The student exchange program involves an exchange period when students of one institution study at the partner institution.  Many students have both a business and a personal interest in cooperating with an overseas university and become a student of an international program. Upon completing the course, the students obtain an academic transcript. It is a certificate that is valued high by the academic community. At the end of the meeting, the guests visited the Financial University Museum of Finance and had a tour of the University.
