Before the first conference day, the overseas guests met with the representatives of the Financial University International Relations Office. E.A. Didenko, Vice-Rector for Continuing Education, introduced the guests of the Conference. They were: David Atchoarena, Director, UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning;   Tapio Varis, Professor Emeritus, University of Tampere, Acting President of Global University System (GUS), UNESCO Chair in Global e-Learning (Finland); Dr. Christian M. Stracke, ICDE Chair in OER and Associate Professor for Open Education at the Welten Institute of the Open University of the Netherlands (OUNL). The guests were welcomed by M.V. Kotelnikov, Deputy Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, and L.V. Prikhodko, Head of the International Relations Office.  They spoke about the operations of the International Relations Office and made an outline of the areas of international cooperation. The Ecosystem of the Continuing Education: the Future and the Sustainable Development Goals international conference will be held on 11 April 2019. The conference program includes presentations of Russian and overseas experts. It is organized by the office of the Vice-Rector for Continuing Education.
