FinU has become a Winner in the Best Practices in the Promotion of Healthy Lifestyles in the Russian Federation All-Russia Competition
The Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation held the awarding ceremony for the winners and finalists of the Best Practices in the Promotion of Healthy Lifestyles in the Russian Federation All-Russia Competition on 21 December 2018. The key goal of the competition is to promote healthy lifestyles among the Russian population, to attract public attention to the important public health protection issues, including general health protection and health protection at work.
There were the following competition categories:
- Best practices in promoting healthy lifestyles in the public institutions;
- Best practices in promoting healthy lifestyles in the commercial companies;
- Best practices in promoting healthy lifestyles in non-profit organizations;
- Best practices in promoting healthy lifestyles in higher education institutions.
There were 2,579 applications from 86 constituent territories of the Russian Federation. They were filed by representatives of executive bodies, local governments of Russia and the CIS countries and non-profit organizations established in Russia and the CIS countries. The competition judges were the representatives of advertising industry, government institutions and the media. They were selecting the best competitors. Pavel Kolobkov, the Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation, Irina Viner-Usmanova, President of the All-Russia Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics, the senior trainer of the national Russian team, Chairperson of the Civic Chamber Committee for Physical Education and Promotion of Healthy Lifestyles, Vyacheslav Fetisov, First Deputy Chairman of the Federal Assembly Committee for Physical Education, Sport, Tourism and Youth Affairs, Natalya Pochinok, Chairperson of the Civic Chamber Committee for Social Policy, Labor Relations, Cooperation with the Trade Unions and Veteran Support, took part in the awarding ceremony. The Financial University public physical education and sport promotion system has been considered the best in the category 'Best practices in promoting healthy lifestyles in higher education institutions'.
