On 17/12/2018 the Financial University hosted the international conference Achievements and Challenges of Modernization of Contemporary China organized by the Sociology and Political Science Faculty with great success.

The Minister-Counselor of the People's Republic of China Young Tzhokhai and the FinU Scientific Director, Correspondent Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Prof. Dmitry Sorokin addressed the guests of the conference with warm welcome speeches.

Mr. Young Tzhokhai thanked the Financial University for the invitation and shared his intention to invite the Chinese Embassy representatives and Chinese students of Russian universities to the FinU in order to discuss the issues of education for Chinese citizens in Russia. Mr. Tzhokhai also shared his next year wish to award the Chinese university graduates with the diplomas of FinU. The Chinese delegation also included the First Secretary of the Embassy of China Mr. Mae Khanzche.

The conference featured contributions from Russian and Chinese academics, professors, and prominent public figures. Vice-Rectors for International Cooperation Prof. Andrei Rementsov and Maxim Kotelnikov represented the FinU International Office at the event.
